Professional Educator, Librarian & Technologist
I grew up in a south Memphis neighborhood called Walker Homes. As a poor kid, there was one safe air conditioned place I could go to in those hot summers. It was a small 200 square foot mini library attached to the Mitchell Community Center. That library and librarian changed my life, gave me the opportunity to see the world through books, and the chance to have a better life.
As an educational leader, I am committed to serving as a resource, advocate, and collaborator for students, faculty, and staff. My goal is to cultivate an inclusive and supportive environment that encourages achievement, innovation, and lifelong learning. By combining my expertise in education, library science, and technology, I strive to bridge gaps, remove barriers, and create meaningful opportunities that empower all members of the school community to reach their full potential. Together, we can build a culture where every student succeeds, every educator is valued, and every voice is heard.
